Objective

Launch Honeyfoam as the product platform signaling Paddletek’s evolution into a more modern, performance-driven brand. The campaign needed to introduce a major material innovation while repositioning a legacy company for a faster, more technical era of pickleball without sacrificing the trust that built the brand.

Approach

Built a launch system spanning product design, visual identity, motion, web, packaging, content production, and channel strategy. The creative direction paired cinematic sports storytelling with technical product visualization, using experimental AI-assisted workflows to explore material studies, motion concepts, and campaign assets alongside traditional production and live-action content.

Results

Established a more future-facing creative standard for Paddletek while aligning internal teams, external partners, and launch channels around one product story. Honeyfoam positioned the company as a modern innovation leader in a rapidly evolving pickleball market and created a scalable foundation for future product storytelling, campaigns, and digital experiences.

The challenge: make Paddletek's biggest innovation in 15 years something viewers could feel.
Paddle laying on glass
The photographic direction gave Honeyfoam its own launch language: fog, light, reflection, and practical material effects combined to make the product feel technical, sensory, and future-facing.
Athlete swinging paddle
Athlete content connected the innovation story back to the sport. The shoot framed the athlete as a participant, moving through a faux engineering process before testing the paddle firsthand.
Abstract foam texture
Abstract material studies translated the product story into feeling: responsive, powerful, and transformative. Honeycomb-like patterns shift into foam textures, visualizing the leap from familiar construction to a new performance platform.

Product infographic
The innovation lives inside the paddle: a floating core made from three foam layers designed to generate power on swings and touch on softer shots.
The face graphic was designed to echo the product architecture. Perimeter rings mirror the inner foam structure, interrupted only by required product information and brand marks.
